What is One Stop Clinic?
The doctor takes the patient’s medical history, performs an examination and an ultrasound of the affected area, and initiates treatment (such as injections or physiotherapy, where required).
If an X-ray is necessary, it is performed during the visit, sparing the patient from unnecessary tests and multiple appointments. This “one-stop” clinic model ensures that the diagnosis is made and the recommended, personalized treatment begins immediately within a single appointment.
If surgery is indicated, it is scheduled in consultation with Mr. Leonidou. In any case, by the end of the consultation, the patient leaves with a personalized plan to address their condition.
What are the benefits?
- Immediate diagnosis in a single appointment
- Immediate start of treatment
- Avoidance of unnecessary tests – lower cost for the patient
- Avoidance of multiple follow-up visits
If you are suffering from an orthopaedic condition, consult the specialized orthopaedic surgeon Mr. Andreas Leonidou. He has 14 years of continuous experience abroad and specializes in upper limb and knee surgery, as well as sports injuries.
The cost is quite affordable and depends on the size of the calcification and the special materials that need to be used. The cost of the procedure includes the arthroscopic materials, hospital stay expenses and the surgical team’s fee. There is also a contribution from the patient’s insurance fund (EOPYY). Patients with private insurance are covered in accordance with the terms of their insurance policy. For more information, please contact us.
